Typical Mail Message to Majordomo

Majordomo will attempt to subscribe you at the address you used to send
the message. If the request was successful, Majordomo will send you the
Welcome message associated with the list and a message indicating the
subscription request succeeded.
Sometimes Majordomo will forward your request to the list owner for
approval. If you request requires approval Majordomo will send mail
indicating that your request has been forwarded and you will likely get a
reply within a day or two.
