EMERGENCY SERVICES
        Fire Protection for the City is provided by a volunteer fire
department.  They are well trained, well led and a credit to the City.
        City policing is provided by contract to the RCMP who also
look after all Western Communities.  A community Police Station has
been established in City Hall.
        Provincial statutes mandates that the City have an Emergency
Plan to deal with major disasters.  Colwood's Emergency Plan is available
for viewing at City Hall.
