     9	     The Okanagan and Fraser Valley fruit farmer is not the
    10	docile habitant of Quebec; our loggers and miners in this
    11	province are real men; while the great middle classes in our
    12	British Columbia cities average up a people unequalled on earth.
    13	     If we are forced to it by Eastern Canada, we can separate
    14	and pay our own way and go it alone; and we can be sure we will
    15	have 100 per cent British support.
    16	     Victoria and Vancouver are world seaports.  This province is
    17	a great hunting and sporting country.  And regardless of the
    18	tongues and races in the rest of Canada, we are and propose to
    19	remain, a British people.
    20	     There must be a more equitable sharing among Canadians of
    21	things Canadian, or else this province must look about in self-
    22	defence to find ways and means to federate these parts into a
    23	DOMINION OF BRITISH COLUMBIA.
