*** What is Paleontology? ***

Dictionary term:         Paleo - (prefix) ancient
		  Paleontology - n. The Study of Ancient Life 
                                 (through fossils, etc.)

	Now, many people associate Paleontology with Dinosaurs.  That is 
accurate to a point.  But Paleontology is not just the study of 
Dinosaurs, it's the study of all life, through fossils and such.

	There are many areas of study in Paleontology.  To name a few:

                 Paleobotany - The study of fossil plants
           Paleomicrobiology - The study of fossil Micro Organisms
                Paleozoology - The study of fossil animals

	So, as you can see, there is more than meets the eye when it 
comes to paleontology.
