Part one looks at installation and setup of an RS/6000 computer using AIX and
the Motif graphical interface.  Part two provides an intermediate level
overview of a System V based UNIX environment.  Part three looks at UNIX system
management, including TCP/IP and Internet networking.
 
Cohn's organization is logical and his writing contains enough humour to keep
it interesting.  (There is no truth to the rumour that IBM chose the Korn shell
for AIX because they liked the "$" prompt.)  Although directed specifically at
AIX users, this could serve as a general introduction for PC users moving to
any form of UNIX.
