A nicely presented alternative documentation to ClarisWorks, this book has a
good layout and well chosen topics.  But no surprises.

The first two chapters are general, giving first an overview of integrated
software, and then important tasks common to all aspects of the program, such
as opening and closing files.  Five chapters are devoted to the component parts
of the system, respectively:  word processing, spreadsheet, data base, graphics
(paint) and communications.  The data base section gets a good introduction: 
not surprising, coming from someone who appears to make his living selling
custom data bases.  Communications is usually given short shrift in integrated
software--this is reflected both in ClarisWorks and in the chapter in this
book.  Chapter eight looks at combining functions within the program.  Nine
finishes off with advanced topics such as macros and slide shows.
