This book is a novel about art, community activity, talent, feminism,
family, self-censorship, sexual predation, romance, friendship, and
street people.  It's also about none of the foregoing.  It's very hard
to say what the book is about, but it is worth the read.  Within the
first few pages, even as I was struggling to figure out what was going
on in the story, I found myself enjoying the reading.  By the time I
was halfway through I was completely hooked.  The writing is creative,
sweet, and literate.  Cassie Stocks writes better than I could ever
hope to, and I hope she writes more books.
