Note the subtitle carefully.  This is not an introduction for the novice, but a
manual for the intermediate user ready to move on.  Despite its age, the
information is valuable.  The text is clear and readable and the content well-
chosen.
 
Many such books stick to the cute or the amusing.  This work is decidedly
useful, with a bent towards the pragmatic function.  There is also a lot of
material on data safety and recovery.
