Of the first version, I said that it was YAJBFCP (Yet Another Java
Book For C Programmers.)  The second edition has been significantly
expanded, not only in the updated material for JDK (Java Developer's
Kit) 1.1, but also in the background, explanatory, and tutorial
material.  This is more evident in earlier chapters than later: the
chapter on object-orientation is not for novices.  The book is still
mainly for experienced programmers, but it does provide a better
introduction than it did in the first edition.
