This book provides an introduction, overview and examples of programming using
Visual Basic 5, the Control Creation Edition (otherwise known as CCE).  It
includes a CD-ROM with a beta version of CCE, so if you have Windows 95 (or,
presumably, NT), you can get started right away.
 
Unfortunately, that is all it does.  While broad of scope, the book is short on
explanation.  The descriptions of ActiveX (and even object-oriented
programming) will leave the novice no further enlightened.  For those simply
wanting an upgrade from existing skills, though, it should be suitable.
