This guide will get you started with Visual Basic for Applications, the Visual
Basic version integrated with a number of Microsoft products.  It will, in
fact, show you a number of things you might not have explored on your own.  The
programming concepts examined here are wider ranging, even if the explanatory
material is a bit non-standard.
 
Mansfield's content is not directed only to programmers.  The average user,
however, would be well advised to have VBA up and running while reading the
book.  Visual Basic's -- well, visual -- orientation makes doing easier than 
reading and translating.
