Frasier and The Fictional World of Archives

TV Series Premiere: 1993

Following the demise of his marriage (and the cancellation of the TV show Cheers set in a Boston bar), psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Winslow Crane (Kelsey Grammer) moves back home to Seattle where he shares an apartment or condominium with his father Martin (John Mahoney) and his father's English home care attendant Daphne Moon (Jane Leeves). Frasier's psychiatrist brother, Dr. Niles Crane (David Hyde Pierce), frequently visits and has a secret crush on Daphne whom he eventually marries. In addition to Frasier's practice he also hosts a radio talk show on mental health and psychological issues. One of Frasier's foils at the station is Robert "Bulldog" Briscoe whom Frasier replaced. Bulldog works in the archives.

In the episode broadcast October 29, 2002, "Tales From The Crypt" (Episode 219), Frasier attempts to get revenge on Bulldog for yet another practical joke at Frasier's expense. Fully half the episode (15 minutes) is set in the "dark, musty archives" which is in the basement of the station. If it's musty, it might be because of the records storage boxes sitting on the floor.
