Some additional time and space could have been given to the strengths and weaknesses of encryption, even given the non- technical target audience. There are a number of other topics which are related, but not really essential. Much space is given to new forms of marketing, and even to a discussion (those who know the history of this review series will note the irony) of copyright. While these fields are interesting, they do detract from the central issue of commercial information security in an open environment. copyright Robert M. Slade, 1996 BKDGLMNY.RVW 960126
