The Book Shelf

Compiled Suggested Readings and Bibliographic Resources

In this section I am listing many of the research materials that I have found over the years in an effort to understand, and to cope with, the demons of illness which I have been battling for so very long. Most books directly relate to CFIDS/ME or FM, but some do not.

Many more titles have been read and forgotten than remembered over the course of the last twenty-five years. Some books and articles have been read more than once and still forgotten, one of the curses of living with CFIDS/ME.

My advice to others is to read whatever you feel may apply to your life and circumstances. Take note of what feels right and relevant. Ignore and forget what does not apply to you. Every person is different and is affected by different life experiences. What made a positive difference in my life may not have the same impact in someone else's life.

Above all, remember that all the "Wisdom" I have listed is written upon paper... not upon stone.
